Mutation & Succession — Land Record Correction under Rajasthan Revenue Law

Mutation (Namantaran) is the process of updating the Record of Rights (Jamabandi) upon transfer or succession of agricultural land. Under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, every person acquiring land by succession or transfer must report the transaction to the Patwari.
